How bad credit can be embarrassing.
Everyone can access your personal credit report these days with your social and a few key strokes. The internet has made getting automated information extremely efficient. If you have tried getting a new job, insurance, a rental, or applied for credit, just about all companies will pull your credit report to see if you are a high risk individual or not. It does not matter what the situation is just about everyone that extends some sort of service might request your credit profile.Let’s assume you are getting ready to join a country club and they ask to pull your credit report to make sure you will follow through with a membership agreement and to your surprise they turn you down because of your credit score.
I personally think most companies are fed up with people not paying there bills. Just put yourself in the situation of the company that is extending some sort of service to you. If you are extending a service without some type of pre-payment for the services rendered like electricity, I can only imagine what a nightmare it would be to get people to pay there bills on-time or to even pay at all.
There is nothing more embarrassing than to hear another grown person tell you “NO” because of your credit. It’s kind of like going back in time when you were just a kid and your parents told you “NO” either because they were looking out for your best interests or just did not want to fool with the request period.
Lets face it we are all suppose to be responsible adults, lets do our best to pay all our bills on-time and be good citizens. Its not worth having bad credit during this day and age, because it will affect every aspect of your life.

This is so true. I run a small business that does financing on vehicles. Yes, small and large business is fed up with customers not paying bills. I know I am!!!
And what a lot of people don't realize is that most problems can be resolved with a creditor if a person would just talk to them and be honest. When it comes down to it, a small business just wants their money, even if they might have to change the terms of the agreement to make that happen. Us business owners just want to be paid just like a person that works a regular job and gets a paycheck every week. And thats how I explain it to my delinquent customers, I ask them how they would feel if their employer told them on friday that they were not going to get paid that week. Most of the time when I tell someone that, It puts things into perspective!
